The trail leads possibly onwards to a huge Gurung’s village of Sikles and Mardi Himal. Singar Lake is about 25km far from Chame if you follow the better trail. There is another short trail also but too steep, said “Lokendra Bahadur Ghale.”
Added by Lokendra Bahadur Ghale, there was gone an expedition group from Japan for Lamjung Himal (6931m) about 40 years ago. The expedition group had given the name of the lake “Kajin Sara” which can see on Google map. The meaning of Singar is making up for beauty, by that time lots of shepherd gathering around the lake and do makeup as well as singing and dancing. That is why the lake name was given Singar Taal. If you are willing to trek to Singar Lake then must be prepared with camping equipment.
