We will begin the Rara Lake Trek from the airstrip of Jumla as we fly there from Kathmandu via Nepalgunj. The track passes all the way through the green landscape. From Jumla, we begin walking to the Padma. We will transverse northeast side along the Chaudbise Khola all the way through pine forests. Walking two hours further, we will reach Urthu (2520m) at the union point of Chaudbise river and Ghurseni River. Also, the track further than Padmara rises along the northern side of Ghurseni River. We will move to 3048 meters and go up to the pass -Khali Langa (3545m). And before reaching Ghurchi Lagna (3457m) we ascend up the slender channel on the northeast hill and go around the north side to reach Pine (2430m). Rara Lake is only 8 kilometers west side of Pine. It is an enjoyable trekking day with excellent vistas to the north.
