Trip Name: Everest View Trek

Go with them!

Our family of 4 (with 2 young kids) went on a 6 day Everest View trek organized by Raju mid October 2018. This was on the Everest Base Camp trail but only upto Namche Bazaar (Lukla - Phakding - Namche Bazaar - Everest View lodge and then trek back to Lukla). The planning and organization was excellent. Raju and his sister met us at the airport on arrival in Kathmandu and took care of everything till they dropped us back at the airport on the way back home! A complete worry free package! Wonderful! Transportation, local flights, hotel accommodation, food, guide, porters, permits were all taken of. They even came to our hotel multiple times, to discuss the trek details, to discuss the experience after the trek and to drop us back to the airport.

The trek guide was friendly and very helpful in the trek itself and in getting the logistics sorted out for the chaotic flight schedules to and from Lukla (even though we had confirmed flight reservations for a specific flight to and from Lukla, it seems like the flights are assigned on a first come first serve basis on that day!!).

One thing to note is that there are multiple standards of lodges in the trek route, from the very basic backpacker ones to luxury hotels (yes, luxury hotels!). Ensure that you discuss clearly about the type of accommodation you want. As we were with young children, we were particular about getting rooms with attached bathrooms. But due to some miscommunication we did not get this in a couple of places or the ones we got were in a very bad shape. Though disappointed, we took it in the stride as we were after all trekking in "The Himalayas" and room quality, though important, was still secondary. But still, sort this out before the trek begins.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the trek and left Nepal with great memories. Would absolutely recommend Nepal Kailash without any hesitation and will definitely go with him for our future treks.
