What kinds of Mount Kailash tour package are you looking? There are two kinds of services like full camping or tea houses (lodge and Hotel). You can use both as well camping and lodge services. The both services are more expensive than one of two.There is another thing that which route you are going through.

If your route is via Simikot, then there is no option except camping because there is no lodge or guesthouses on that route in Nepal part. That is why; we should organize a camping (tented) trek during Nepal part. After cross the Hilsa border then you may have an option either take camping crew or not. In our experience, the camping would be better entire trip even it is a little more expensive because of during the Mount Kailash trekking (Kora or Parikrama) there is no well or better hotel/guesthouse and food. That is the main goal of the trip you may have make a round of Mount Kailash. If you will not have the good lodge or guesthouse and food, then physically you would have lose your energy for 3 days trekking of Mount Kailash. This is the reason some people cannot complete Kailash Kora.  If you are already have done lots of trekking in the Himalaya and physically still fit with local meals, then you can choose without camping services in Tibet part. Now, you can choose what kinds of Mount Kailash tour package you want to take.

Mount Kailash tours package it expensive and if you want full camping organize, then some extra hundreds dollar more per person (grans total cost would be USD 2000 for supporting truck). It is because of we need to hire a supporting truck. The other things won’t be big different because all staffs already would have reached to Hilsa border and need to pay to then returning salary, domestic airfare and transportation. So, that part would not be big things. Either you take camping organize or not, eat and pay in the hotel (restaurant). So, that money can be add in the fund of you paid to company and eat in own camping kitchen.
